Sony Music denies Shakira will sing in Kurdish

PanARMENIAN.Net - Sony Music denied claims that Shakira will be joining a Kurdish rap singer to sing two songs in Kurdish, reported on its website today.

According to Hürriyet Daily News, rumors swept Turkey's social media March 19, after a report was published, claiming Shakira would participate in an album marking the anniversary of the Halabja Massacre.

The report said Shakira will team up with Kurdish rapper Hemin Xalid to sing songs titled "The Rose of Halabja" and "This Time for Kurdistan."
