RUSSIA NOT TO INCREASE ITS MILITARY CONTINGENT IN ARMENIA

PanARMENIAN.Net - Russia is not going to increase the contingent of its military base deployed in Armenia, Russian defense minister Sergey Ivanov stated in Yerevan. At the same time he noted that Russia "is very considerate" to the issues of providing the military base with the modern military equipment and armament. He also stated that Russia has no intention to interfere with the domestic developments in Armenia. "We build our relations with Armenia as with our strategic partner proceeding from the cultural-historical and military-political ties and consider Armenia to be our ally", the Russian minister said.
