SNOW SLIDE COVERED 46 PEOPLE ON MEGHRI-KAJARAN HIGHWAY

PanARMENIAN.Net - 46 people found themselves under snow as a result of a slide on the Meghri-Kajaran highway March 19 evening. As the press service of the department of states of emergency of Armenia told "Arminfo" agency, in spite of the hard weather conditions, as of 10:00 p.m. by means of heavy technical equipment rescuers managed to clean part of the road and released 30 people from the snow. By 00:25 a.m. the rest of the road was cleared and another 16 lives were saved. According to the source, none of those, who were under the snow, suffered. Over 13 vehicles were also released from under the snow.
