PanARMENIAN.Net - The central electoral commission of Armenia has registered 5 out of the 6 party blocs, which had submitted applications for participating in the parliamentary election May 25. It registered "Justice" bloc, which comprises People party of Armenia, Republic party, National-Democratic Union, Constitutional Right Union, National Democratic Party, National-Democratic Bloc, Democratic Party, Social-Democratic Party (Hnchakian), and Social-Democratic Party of Armenia. The following pre-election blocs were also registered: "Union of Industrialists and Women" (Progressive United Communist Party + Women of Armenia), "Raffi Hovhannisian" (Legacy and Nation State parties), "Dignity, Democracy, Fatherland" (People's Democratic Party + Deserved Future), "Free Hayk Mission" (National Self-Determination Organization, Intellectual Armenia + Free Hayk Mission social and political organization). As reported by "Arka" agency, the central electoral commission has refused registration to "Free, Just Armenia" bloc, which includes Union of Communists of Armenia and Armenian Marxist Party for the reason that the Union of Communists of Armenia did not submit a properly composed and sealed statute, and the Marxist party did not reregister at the Armenian ministry of justice.
