Yerevan Condemns Any Violence in Near East

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenia condemns any violence in the Near East, RA Foreign Minister Vartan Oskanian told reporters today. In his words, Yerevan considers inadmissible taking hostage and appliance of force that claims human lives. The sides should stop hostilities and proceed to talks, he added.



When asked whether he is going to file his candidacy for President, the RA FM stated he has no intention to run for the post. In his words, he plans activities in the foreign policy. At that Vartan Oskanian assured he will not join any political party and neither of parties has made proposal of the kind.

Ohanyan said the Armenian armed forces maintained ceasefire during the European Games, and moreover, showed restraint.
Seyran Ohanyan briefed Ambassador Andrzej Kasprzyk on the ceasefire violations along the Nagorno Karabakh line of contact.
The head of the Armenian delegation to the OSCE PA handed the Pan-Armenian Declaration to the OSCE PA President.
“I repeatedly stated that we don’t have unlimited time for ratification of protocols. I regret that the message was left unheard,” Sargsyan said.
