PanARMENIAN.Net - The Armenian-Turkish border won't be opened on April 16, an Armenian expert said.

"Yerevan and Ankara will just sign a landmark declaration on normalization of bilateral relations," Ruben Melkonyan, specialist in Turkology, told a news conference in Yerevan.

"During many years, presidential hopefuls pledged to recognize the Armenian Genocide but forgot about it later. Now, not only President Obama but also his administration holds a pro-Armenian stand," he said.
