By-elections possible in Yerevan?

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenia's first President, leader of Armenian National Congress (ANC) Levon Ter-Petrosyan said his bloc doesn't recognize the outcomes of the May 31 municipal elections and renounces its mandates in Yerevan city council.



According to the Law on Yerevan, if a city council member renounces office, the seat remains vacant. The ANC was expected to get 12 or 13 mandates.
