Presidents of Armenia and Russia hold official meeting

PanARMENIAN.Net - Changes took place in the itinerary of a two-day working visit of Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan to Rostov-on-Don. Initially, the Armenian President was expected to attend a horserace for the Russian President’s prize in Rostov-on-Don, but Serzh Sargsyan did not manage to do it, due to his bilateral meeting with Russian President Dmitry Medvedev.

Press Secretary of the Armenian President Armen Arzumanyan said that similar events serve as a ground for unofficial meetings of states’ leaders. “However, the Russian President offered to substitute the unofficial meeting by an official one, which lasted for an hour,” said Arzumanyan.
