Suren Surenyants expects rearrangements both in opposition and coalition

PanARMENIAN.Net - Suspension of Armenia-Turkey Protocols ratification led to activation of Karabakh conflict settlement process, according to Republic Party political council member Suren Surenyants.

As he told a news conference in Yerevan, regardless of Yerevan policy, Turkey has always been active in Karabakh issue. “Armenia’s ratifying protocols first, instead of waiting for Turkey to do it would be a more correct step.” Assessing situation in Middle East, Surenyants noted that Freedom Flotilla incident completely eliminated the possibility of renewing Israeli –Palestinian negotiations. “Continued tension in Middle East can affect our region as well,” the politician said.

Dwelling on Armenia’s internal political situation, Suren Surenyants expects rearrangements both in opposition and coalition. “We have to rule out participation of external forces in settlement of Armenia’s internal problems.” As he noted, within the next months to come Armenian President will attempt to form an integrated system of state governance.

Commenting on ANC future steps, Surenyants said the opposition has to increase effectiveness of its activities, using all necessary mechanisms.
