Washington may address sharp statements to Ankara before congressional elections

PanARMENIAN.Net - Turkologist Artak Shakaryan said that Washington may address sharp statements to Ankara prior to the U.S. congressional elections due November 2010.

The U.S. political circles will take certain steps to attract Armenian-American voters, Shakaryan told a press conference in Yerevan.

According to him, the visit of U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton to the Armenian Genocide Memorial during her visit to Yerevan should also be considered within this context.
