 NKR Defense Army is ready to repulse any provocative actions September 4, 2010 - 17:54 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Member of the Republican Party of Armenia (RPA) parliamentary group, Chairman of the RPA Youth Council Karen Avagyan said that, unfortunately, Azerbaijan is continuing its provocative policy through statements and certain actions. The current actions of Baku should be in the focus of the international community and condemned, Avagyan told a PanARMENIAN.Net reporter. “Armenia has repeatedly stated that it stands for the peaceful resolution of the conflict, while Azerbaijan has always made bellicose statements and initiated similar subversive actions,” noted Avagyan. He added that the NKR Defense Army stands alert and is ready to punish and repulse any provocative actions. Another subversive attack of the Azerbaijani armed forces was prevented by Nagorno Karabakh servicemen on September 4 morning. As result of a close combat, the Azerbaijanis retreated, leaving one killed in the territory controlled by the NKR army. The NKR Defense Ministry reported no casualties.
