Edward Nalbandian: implementation of Armenia-NATO individual partnership program is among Armenia’s first priorities

PanARMENIAN.Net - On September 14, Armenian Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian met with Robert Simmons, NATO Secretary General's Special Representative for the Caucasus and Central Asia.

As the meeting, the Minister characterized implementation of Armenia-NATO individual partnership program as one of Armenia’s priorities.

Nalbandian emphasized Armenia’s intention to continue cooperation with NATO in the framework of Euro-Atlantic Partnership Council. The parties cooperate along the lines of peacemaking operations, struggle against terrorism and liquidation of natural calamity consequences.

In conclusion, Nalbandian and Simmons cited Armenia 2010 NATO drill for liquidation of natural calamity consequences as an example of effective cooperation, Foreign Ministry press service reported.
