The conference organized by the Russian agency of international information - RIA Novosti - brought together experts, public activists, as well as representatives of Armenian, Georgian and Russian media. Head of the CIS & Baltic department of RIA Novosti Alan Kasayev told journalists that this is the fifth conference with participation of Russia, Armenia, Georgia and Azerbaijan. “Problems of information cooperation, the region’s security, as well as development opportunities will be in the focus of the conference,” Kasayev said, adding that participants of the conference will also refer to intensification of Russian diplomacy in the region, as well as matters of energy cooperation.
