Four Armenian oppositionists detained

PanARMENIAN.Net - 4 oppositionists were detained during a rally organized by the Armenian National Congress (ANC) on November 9.

“It’s nothing but an act of violence against people who held a peace protest,” ANC coordinator Levon Zurabyan told a PanARMENIAN.Net reporter.

He said the detainees were beaten on the way to police station.

“We are not allowed to see them or conduct an expertise,” Zurabyan noted.

The 6-hour opposition rally is going on at Charles Aznavour Square in front of the building when an EI-Armenia forum on civil society is being held.
