Eduard Sharmazanov: Baku’s myth of an immediate victory -a mere soap bubble

PanARMENIAN.Net - Large-scale military maneuvers recently held in Artsakh once again proved the efficiency of NKR Army, ready to show an adequate response in case of a rival attack, Republican Party of Armenia (RPA) Secretary Eduard Sharmazanov stated.

“The maneuvers proved Baku’s myth of an immediate victory to be a mere soap bubble. Ilham Aliyev should have learnt his lesson, seeing how unsuccessful the policy of his predecessor was, resulting in the panic flight of Azeris from the battlefield,” he said at the Armenian parliament.

“Aliyev senior was the first to ask for a ceasefire. We believe, to reach definitive peace, one should be ready for a war,” RPA Secretary emphasized, stating that he sees no alternative to Artsakh independence.
