  Hrant Melik-Shahnazaryan: many countries ready to recognize Artsakh December 4, 2010 - 14:38 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Political analyst Hrant Melik-Shahnazaryan said he has got an impression that many countries are ready to recognize Nagorno Karabakh within its current borders to withdraw the matter from the agenda. The international community has become a hostage of the Karabakh conflict, Melik-Shahnazaryan told a press conference in Yerevan. He added that if everyone is tired of the conflict, Armenia should use this opportunity and prepare the international community for the conflict settlement, i.e. – recognition of NKR. According to Shahnazaryan, Azerbaijan unwillingly accelerates the process of recognition. The Armenian Defense Ministry has denied Azerbaijan's accusations of violating the ceasefire. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan took to social media to thank his Lithuanian counterpart for the contribution.
