Armenian Defense Ministry blames Baku for NKR soldier death

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian Ministry of Defense issued a statement over the incident at the line of contact between the Nagorno Karabakh armed forces, as a result of which Armenian soldier Hovik Sukuasyan was killed.

“This incident once again proved that the Azerbaijani authorities do not control the army or organize attacks themselves,” the Ministry said.

The Azerbaijani armed forces violated the ceasefire on January 20 evening. The firing was stopped due to retaliatory measures. According to preliminary data, the Azerbaijani side suffered greater loss of life. Details are being clarified.
