  Thomas Hammerberg: it’s not only CoE which helps Armenia, but Armenia, too, assists Council  January 21, 2011 - 18:52 AMTPanARMENIAN.Net - At the meeting with CoE Commissioner for Human Rights Thomas Hammerberg, Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan emphasized the importance of cooperation with European structures to Armenia. Mr. Hammarberg, in turn stressed that it’s not only the CoE which helps Armenia, but Armenia, too, assists the Council. “We’re teaching each other about democracy, human rights and supremacy of law. This time, just as before, I met you upon completion of my visit, to share my impressions with you,” the Commissioner told the President. The meeting further focused on reforms in Armenia, human rights protection and steps to promote them, presidential press service reported. The Armenian Defense Ministry has denied Azerbaijan's accusations of violating the ceasefire.
