Democratic Party negotiates uniting with left forces, won’t form alliance with ANC

PanARMENIAN.Net - Democratic Party of Armenia (DPA) is discussing the possibility of uniting with left hand forces at the next parliamentary election, DPA leader stated.

At a news conference in Yerevan, Aram Sargsyan characterised unification of parties with similar ideologies as a normal occurrence, pointing out Armenian society’s need for left parties.

Sargsyan refused to name political parties involved in discussions, however, stressing DPA’s determination to never form a union with Armenian National Congress (ANC).
