Armenian National Congress gets ready for a rally at Liberty Square

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian opposition is getting ready to hold a rally at Liberty Square.

“The day which saw people reunited on the Liberty Square is a great one,” said Heritage party leader, Raffi Hovannisian, who went on hunger strike March 15, with a demand that extraordinary elections be held.

As he noted, Armenian authorities proved to be reasonable, having allowed the opposition rally at Liberty Square.

As PanARMENIAN.Net correspondent at the scene reported, Armenian National Congress coordinator Levon Zurabyan urged those gathered against damaging children’ amusement park in the center of the Square. The demonstrators chant “Struggle, Struggle!”
