Raffi Hovannisian’s hunger strike may be discussed in Armenian parliament

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian MP Viktor Dallakyan called on his colleagues to discuss the ongoing hunger strike of Heritage party leader Raffi Hovannisian.

“I offer the parliamentary forces to summon a meeting to discuss the issue. We must call on Hovannisian to stop the hunger strike,” Dallakyan said. “If deputies fail to dissuade Hovannisian from his decision, they should at least visit him in Liberty Square.”

On March 21, the National Assembly is scheduled to debate bills on amendments to Criminal Code and Election Code.
