  ARFD: amendments to Armenian Electoral Code “victory of biomass” March 25, 2011 - 15:37 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Head of the ARF Dashnaktsutyun parliamentary group Vahan Hovhannisyan has labeled the adoption of legislative changes to the Armenian Electoral Code as a “victory of biomass. ” “The package of amendments proposed by Dashnaktsutyun found no counterarguments but those who had numerical superiority managed to win,” Hovhannisyan said. On March 25, the Armenian National Assembly passed the coalition-proposed amendments to the RA Electoral Code with a 70-0 vote and 1 abstention. At the same time the parliament voted down the opposition’s bill supposing amendments to the Code.
