Karabakh intelligentsia urges Raffi Hovannisian to stop his hunger strike

PanARMENIAN.Net - Representatives of the NKR intelligentsia and public-political circles urge the leader of Heritage party, member of the Armenian parliament Raffi Hovannisian to stop his hunger strike.

"The people of the Republic of Artsakh estimate highly the role of Raffi Hovannisian's "hunger strike for the sake of freedom" and his activity for NKR's recognition, but representatives of the NKR intelligentsia are concerned over the health condition of Heritage leader and urge him to stop the hunger strike, reads a statement received by PanARMENIAN.Net

The statement is signed by Chairman of the NKR Public Council on Foreign Policy and Security Masis Mailyan, former member of the NKR parliament, Editor-in-Chief of Analitikon magazine Gegham Baghdasaryan, Chairman of European Movement of Artsakh public organization Hayk Khanumyan, political analyst Alexander Kananyan, former member of the NKR parliament Nerses Ohanjanyan and others.
