  Swiss President to visit Gyumri March 31, 2011 - 15:50 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - As part of her official visit to Armenia, Swiss President Micheline Calmy-Rey will visit Gyumri, Armenia’s second largest city. “Switzerland cooperates with Armenia’s Ministry of Emergency Situations in disaster prevention,” Ms. Calmy-Rey told a press conference in Yerevan. “On April 1, I will be in Gyumri to familiarize myself with the work carried out by Swiss organizations there,” she said, adding that since 1988, Armenia and Switzerland have actively cooperated, specifically in earthquake prevention. The Armenian Defense Ministry has denied Azerbaijan's accusations of violating the ceasefire.
