Armenian opposition again calls for snap election

PanARMENIAN.Net - The only way to resolve the current problems is to hold early elections, according to board chairman of the Armenian National Movement (ANM).

“Extraordinary elections are inevitable,” David Shahnazaryan told a press conference on April 6. “It’s the only topic that can be debated by ANC and the authorities after all political prisoners are released.”

As to the April 8 ANC rally, he is confident that it will be as numerous as on March 17.

Shahnazaryan refrained from going into detail, saying, “You will not be disappointed.”
