Ruben Hakhverdyan: Armenian authorities seem to wait for Russia’s orders

PanARMENIAN.Net - There is an impression that the Armenian authorities are expecting orders from Russia to determine the country’s fate, singer poet Ruben Hakhverdyan said.

“Calling for changes, Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan should start with himself, as he is a part of this corrupt empire,” Hakhverdyan told a press conference in Yerevan.

He said he will not participate in the forthcoming parliamentary and presidential elections, as he is confident that these will be marred.

Singer poet David Amalyan, for his part, referred to the hotly debated Tashir music awards ceremony. “People remembered about the low level of Armenian pop music only after the singers were gifted apartments,” he said.
