Armenian authorities “brainwash” people, ANC coordinator saysApril 13, 2011 - 16:39 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian National Congress (ANC) has no agreement with the authorities on holding extraordinary elections in Armenia, according to ANC coordinator Levon Zurabyan. “No agreement was ever reached. On the contrary, irreconcilable struggle between dictatorship and people's liberation movement is now in progress,” he stressed. As Zurabyan added, the authorities are brainwashing the society, broadcasting and covering only those parts of Levon Ter-Petrossian's statements which might suggest his dialogue with the authorities. Such actions aim to libel the ANC leader, he said. “Armenian authorities are in panic over the opposition rallies gathering thousands of people,” he said, characterising the situation in the country as “top leadership can’t rule in a new way, lower classes don't want to live in the old way.” Top stories The Cabinet of Ministers decided on Thursday, November 9 to allocated AMD 120 million to arrange the gathering.
