Armenia, Georgia to develop military cooperation

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian Minister of Defence Seyran Ohanyan met with the newly-appointed Georgian Ambassador to Armenia Tengiz Sharmanashvili.

Congratulating the Ambassador on his appointment, the Minister expressed hope for the official to contribute to the development of Armenia-Georgia military cooperation.

At the meeting, the parties dwelled of military sector-related issues. As Mr. Ohanyan noted, the cooperation will promote stability and peace in the region, the ministerial press service reported.
