Yerevan Mayor’s Office sanctions opposition rally in Liberty Square

PanARMENIAN.Net - Yerevan Mayor’s Office finally allowed the Armenian National Congress to hold a rally in Liberty Square.

On April 26, member of the Armenian National Movement Vahagn Hayotsyan submitted a petition to the authorized representative of Yerevan Mayor’s Office to revise the decision adopted on April 13 with respect to holding the April 28 opposition rally in Liberty Square.

Since the event of the cultural department of the Mayor’s Office scheduled for April 28 at Liberty Square is canceled, the opposition was sanctioned to organize a rally there, the city administration said on its website.
