Official Yerevan condemns killing of Armenian soldier

PanARMENIAN.Net - Official Yerevan condemns killing of an Armenian soldier by Azerbaijan, RA Foreign Minister stated.

“Killing of soldiers at the border hampers the peace talks for resolution of the Nagorno Karabakh conflict,” Edward Nalbandian said at a joint news conference with European Commissioner for Enlargement and Neighborhood Policy Stefan Fule.

Minister Nalbandian extended condolences to the family of the killed serviceman, Vazgen Bakhshyan, 19, who was wounded in the head and died on the way to a military hospital on April 28.

The Armenian Minister also reminded of the March 5 presidential agreement to settle all disputes peacefully and try to avoid loss of life at the contact line.
