Ter-Petrossian’s talk on early elections game, party leader says

PanARMENIAN.Net - There will be no early elections in Armenia, chairman of Ramkavar Azatakan Party of Armenia stated.

“The Armenian National Congress lacks tools to compel the authorities to hold pre-term parliamentary and presidential elections. As to its leader Levon Ter-Petrossian’s statements about snap elections, it’s merely a game,” Eduard Antinyan told a press conference in Yerevan.

What Levon Ter-Petrossian wants is the seats the next parliament, according to him.

For his part, member of the ruling Republican Party of Armenia Mkrtich Minasyan noted that the ongoing dialogue between the authorities and opposition by no means implies possibility of early elections.
