Heritage leader urges Armenia to recognize NKR constitutional bordersMay 21, 2011 - 13:26 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenia must withdraw its signature from the Armenian-Turkish protocols, also refusing to adhere to Madrid Principles, according to Heritage opposition party leader. As Raffi Hovannisian stated during the Heritage-organized Civil Meeting in Yerevan, Armenian-Turkish protocols clearly indicate acceptance of Turkey’s preconditions, also recognizing Bolshevik-Kemalist agreement of 1921. Hovannisian further stressed the importance of recognition of NKR with all of its constitutional borders. Heritage leader called on Armenia to recognize the jurisdiction of the International Criminal Court. According to him, people must have a right to address the international justice if the national one proves ineffective.
