Ukraine's Supreme Rada chairman commemorates Genocide victims

PanARMENIAN.Net - Ukrainian delegation led by Supreme Rada chairman Vladimir Litvin has arrived on a 2-day official visit to Armenia on the invitation of Armenian parliament speaker Hovik Abrahamyan.

On July 11, the delegation visited Armenian Genocide Memorial to lay a wreath in commemoration of the innocent victims of 1915 massacres.

The delegation proceeded to Armenian Genocide Museum Institute where Mr. Litvin wrote an entry to the visitors' book and planted a tree in the memorial alley.

Meetings with Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan, Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan, Catholicos of All Armenians His Holiness Karekin II, Armenian National Academy of Sciences officials were also on Litvin's agenda.
