Presenting the package, Armenian Minister of Education and Science Armen Ashotyan said, “The package will give a possibility to the entrants with dual citizenship to participate in the exams, choosing the system more convenient for them.” He also noted that as of today, people with dual citizenship were concealing their being Armenian citizens and handed in applications in compliance with the rules envisaged for foreign citizens. The initiatives were welcomed by the majority of parliamentary groups.
