PanARMENIAN.Net - On September 2, on the occasion of the Nagorno Karabakh's Independence Day, examples of the book, entitled: "Nagorno-Karabakh. How it was ...”, published at the initiative of the RA President’s Public Relations and Information Center, was provided to professional departments of higher educational institutions as well as to high school libraries of Yerevan and regions of Armenia, through the RA Ministry of Education and Science.

The book presents and analyzes historical, political, ethnic and cultural aspects of the Nagorno Karabakh issue, as well as considers the real history of the conflict and separate episodes of military operations.

The book presents not only early historical facts concerning the Nagorno Karabakh conflict, but also the whole truth about Sumgait tragedy, its organizers, actions aimed at annihilation of the Armenian community of Baku and the cultural genocide in Jugha, the genocide in Maragha perpetrated by Azerbaijanis, as well as Khojaly (currently Ivanyan) and Aghdam cases.

Making particular reference to the Azerbaijani sources (ex-president Mutalibov’s interview to Nezavisimaya Gazeta newspaper, Azerbaijani journalist Mustafaev’s observations), the book tells how the Azerbaijani leadership tries to present itself to the international community as a suffered party by slaughtering its own citizens - the Meskhetian Turks - at the approaches to Aghdam.

All the observations in the book are based on actual materials, primary sources, photos and legal acts, as well as original agreements, the RA President’s Public Relations and Information Center reported.
