As Belarusian Minister of Trade Valentin Chekanov stated at joint news conference with Armenian Minister of Economy Nerses Yeritsyan in Yerevan, student exchange program will be intensified in both countries. “Armenian students will be given education opportunity at the Medical Department of Sakharov Ecology University,” Chekanov said, characterizing medicine as a prospective direction of Armenia-Belarus cooperation. Deputy Healthcare Minister of Belarus Valery Shevchuk, in turn, spoke about the possibilities of experience exchange with Armenia in the fields of organ transplantation and infant mortality decrease.
