RA government annually allocates around AMD 63mln to Byurakan observatory

PanARMENIAN.Net - Director of Byurakan Astrophysical Observatory Hayk Harutyunyan said that the Armenian government annually allocates around AMD 63mln to the observatory.

AMD 50mln of these funds are spent for salaries and social payments of 85 employees, Harutyunyan told a PanARMENIAN.Net reporter.

Salaries of the observatory employees range from AMD 35,000 to 58,000.
