Fishing in Lake Sevan banned since December 5

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian Minister of Territorial Administration Armen Gevorgyan held a meeting with Nature Protection Minister Aram Harutyunyan, chairman of the commission for Lake Sevan issues Vladimir Movsisyan, Gegharkunik province governor Never Poghosyan and other officials to discuss implementation of programs and fulfillment of orders given by Nature Protection Minister regarding the ban of fishing in the lake during the spawning.

Fishing of crucians and crayfish will be allowed between December 28 and 31 and then prohibited again till January 20.

Besides, a special working group will be formed to control the process of fishing.
