BSEC member states should cooperate to resolve priority issues, U.S. says

PanARMENIAN.Net - The U.S. attaches importance to cooperation aimed at security in the Black Sea region, safe transportation of the Azeri oil and gas to Europe as well as democracy development, the U.S. Deputy Assistant Secretary of State for European and Eurasian Affairs, Matthew Bryza said when addressing the session of Foreign Ministers of the Organization of Black Sea Economic Cooperation.



Mr Bryza also touched upon the situation in northern Iraq. "The U.S. labels PKK as a terrorist organization and will combat it jointly with Iraq and Turkey," the diplomat said emphasizing necessity of cooperation for resolution of priority issues, APA reports.
