Azerbaijani MFA names reason behind withdrawing A/64/L.57 from UN General Assembly agenda

PanARMENIAN.Net - After of a series of intense talks, the OSCE Minsk Group Co-chairs announced that they will visit the region accompanied by a fact-finding mission to study the humanitarian situation in Nagorno Karabakh in late September or early October.

“Given this circumstance, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan has decided to postpone discussion of the resolution “On the occupied territories of Azerbaijan” till the next 65th session of the General Assembly,” Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry said in a statement read out by permanent representative to the UN Akshin Mehtiyev.

The international mission will include experts and consultants, Azeri-Press Agency reported.
