PanARMENIAN.Net - On October 15, Mayor of Toulon Hubert Falco unveiled a plate to honor French sailors who were saved 4100 Armenian refugees in Musa Dagh from Turkish extermination during the Armenian Genocide.

The ceremony was attended by Armenian Ambassador to France Vigen Tchitetchian, French Minister of Defense, veterans and Armenian community members, freelance journalist Jean Eckian told PanARMENIAN.Net

"Pushed by the winds of pain and sorrow, Armenians settled in France. They worked and raised their children. They integrated into French society and even shed their blood for the homeland which became theirs,” Mayor Falco said.
