PanARMENIAN.Net - On January 29, 2001, French President Jacques Chirac singed a bill on Armenian Genocide recognition. The bill was unanimously adopted by the French National Assembly on January 18, 2001.

On November 8, 2000, the resolution was adopted by the Senate, the upper house of the Parliament of France.
