WikiLeaks: former President Ter-Petrossian was personally profiting from narcotics trade to Iran

PanARMENIAN.Net - Aftenposten Norwegian newspaper posted another portion of WikiLeaks cables, declassifying data on drug transfer from Iran through South Caucasus and Russia.

The cables state Iran-Black Sea transit routes to be as follows: Iran-Azerbaijan-Georgia –Black Sea; Iran –Azerbaijan-Russia-Baltic States; as well as those going through NKR territories.

“UNODC as well as Azerbaijani officials believe that senior Armenian political and government officials, including former President Ter-Petrossian, are personally profiting from narcotics trade,” the cables dated September 26, 2008 say.
