CIA: there is strong likelihood that Hosni Mubarak will step down

PanARMENIAN.Net - There is a strong likelihood that embattled Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak will step down February 10 night, CIA Director Leon Panetta told a U.S. Congressional panel.

Mubarak has agreed to yield power to his vice president, a senior U.S. official told CNN, citing contacts within the Egyptian government.

We would like to recall that Hossan Badrawi, secretary general of the National Democratic Party (NDP), also expressed hope that Mubarak will transfer power to Vice-President Omar Suleiman.
