Israeli embassy suspends its activity in Baku

PanARMENIAN.Net - On February 14, the diplomatic mission of Israel in Azerbaijan suspended its activity.

The embassy has been closed for an indefinite term with respect to a possible threat of act of terrorism, according to reliable sources.

The Israeli embassy in Azerbaijan suspended its activity on technical reasons, Israeli ambassador to Azerbaijan Michael Lavon-Lotem told Trend.

He said that as soon as all issues are resolved, the embassy will restore its activity. "If these technical issues are resolved within an hour, we will resume the work within an hour," the ambassador said.
