Abrahamyan: Armenian army capable to defend the country

PanARMENIAN.Net - The Nagorno Karabakh Republic is a full-fledged state and all, including Azerbaijan, should take this fact into consideration, Armenian parliament speaker said.

In a meeting with the Armenian community of UK, Hovik Abrahamyan said that Armenia is willing to resolve the conflict peacefully, with the efforts of the OSCE Minsk Group and on the basis of the international law norms, i.e the right of nations to self-determination, non-use of force and territorial integrity.

Commenting on Azerbaijan’s growing defense budget, he said it’s a grave violation of the international commitments undertaken by Azerbaijan.

“Armenian army is capable to defend our country in case of aggression,” Abrahamyan emphasized.
