Belmont Selectmen to issue proclamation on Armenian Genocide

PanARMENIAN.Net - On April 25, the Belmont Board of Selectmen, during its weekly meeting, will issue a proclamation to commemorate the 96th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide, at Belmont High School. The meeting will start at 6 p.m.

Several residents of Belmont, led by Jirair Hovsepian, persevered and received from the board the commitment to issue the proclamation.

The meeting will be aired on the local access channel. Everyone is urged to attend the meeting to show support for the measure, Armenian Mirror-Spectator reported.
