Russian expert: Armenian Genocide must be recognized worldwide

PanARMENIAN.Net - Head of the Institute of Black and Caspian Sea Studies Vladimir Zakharov said that every effort should be made for the Armenian Genocide recognition worldwide.

“There are hundreds of thousands documentary materials proving annihilation of 1.5 million Armenians in the Ottoman Empire,” Zakharov said during Yerevan-Moscow TV spacebridge titled ‘Armenian Genocide in 96 years…’

“There is a great number of documents on the Armenian Genocide, which are irrefutable, while its denial is deception of the humanity,” he said.

The Russian expert reminded that French journalist Henry Barby’s book on the Armenian Genocide was recently published in Moscow. According to him, it is also a documentary material on the first genocide in the 21st century.
