Social Democrat Hunchakian Party issued a statement on tragic events in Syria threatening the safety of the country’s Armenian community.

In this connection, the party expressed readiness to assist in procurement of temporary living accommodations for Syria’s Armenians arriving in their historic homeland.

“We’re ready to cooperate with relevant institutions to help and support our compatriots,” the party said.
