The first group of the International expert Center for Electoral Systems (ICES) will arrive in Armenia in January, with 35 ICES observers to monitor the presidential polls in February, center head said.

The second group will arrive in Armenia in January, with the short-term observer mission to be deployed on February 15.

Alexander Tsinker pledged to carry out an impartial observer mission, without presenting his personal viewpoint.

The experts further called on all those involved in the electoral processes to avoid statements that might cast doubt on the election results, voicing hope for the polls to be in line with the international standards.
